Beef and Bean Burrito Dumplings in Beef Stew

Serves 12

Ingredients:

  • 2 ½ quarts Beef Stew
  • 12 El Monterey Beef and Bean Burritos (thawed)

Directions

  1. Make your favorite recipe of beef stew and transfer into a 4” full hotel pan.
  2. Place burritos that have been cut into thirds just on top of the surface of the stew keep together and be careful not to submerge burritos.
  3. Cover pan with foil and place into a 325°F oven and bake for about 20-40 minutes. The longer allowed simmering the softer the burritos get and absorb more flavor of the stew.
  4. Serve 3 cut pieces of burritos in bowls with stew over mashed potatoes.
